  • Padded Laptop Box: Designed to fit most laptops up to 16 inches, with dimensions of 15.125″ x 10.25″ x 1″. The box also accommodates chargers and other accessories in a dedicated tray (15.75″ x 3.5″ x 1.5″) .
  • Prepaid Self-Stick Return Label: Each kit comes with a prepaid shipping label, making it easy for employees to return devices without incurring any shipping costs .
  • Packing Instructions and Tape: Clear instructions on how to pack the laptop securely, along with tape for sealing the box .
  • Employee Communication: Device Rescue manages all communication with the employee, including reminders if there are delays in returning the equipment. This ensures that the process remains hassle-free for both the employer and the employee .
  • Tracking Numbers: Each retrieval kit includes tracking information, allowing you to monitor the return process from shipment to final delivery .

Shipping information

The dimensions of our shipping box are 15.125″ x 10.25″ x 1″. We use USPS for shipping our laptop kits, ensuring a reliable and efficient delivery process.

Standard Shipping (Included in All Retrieval Orders):

  • Delivery to Employee: 2-5 business days
  • Return to Designated Address: 2-5 business days

Priority Shipping (Optional Add-On for an Additional Fee):

  • Delivery to Employee: 1-3 business days
  • Return to Designated Address: 1-3 business days

Retrieval Kits are shipped within 1 business day once ordered, ensuring a prompt start to the retrieval process.

Please note, we can only ship to addresses within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories).

What fits in the laptop box?

Our padded laptop box fits most laptops up to 16″ and charger (or other charger-sized accessories) in the appropriate tray. Maximum supported device dimensions: 15.125″ x 10.25″ x 1″.

Is the shipping cost included?

Yes! Our prices are flat-rate and include shipping in both directions and includes the box, tape, and instructions. (shipping an empty box to your employee and return shipping with equipment back to your designated provided address – typically a company address). If you need a faster shipping speed, you can optionally opt for Priority shipping for an additional fee.

What happens if my employee is unresponsive?

Our device return service is thoughtfully designed to help your employee and you return company issued equipment safely and easily. We will provide every effort to make sure your employee sends back their equipment by conducting friendly reminders, and we’ll attempt to communicate with them by phone and email. If we’re unable to receive any communication from your employee after 5 phone call and 5 email attempts, we’ll let you know. Because we provide our full service when we fulfill your order, we are unable to issue refunds for our services in the event that your employee doesn’t return their device.

How long does shipping normally take?

We ship the retrieval kits within 1 business day of receiving your order. It will then typically take 2-5 days for the kit to arrive at your employee’s address, and an additional 2-5 days for the equipment return to arrive at your designated company address once your employee ships it. (Note: transit times may be a bit slower or faster depending on carrier shipping volumes and distance). While we cannot guarantee how long your employee will take to ship their equipment, but our service is designed to help your employee return equipment as quickly and safely as possible.

What locations can you ship to?

We currently ship to all US addresses excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Though expanding our support to more states, Canada and Mexico are on our roadmap.

Can you store our unassigned laptops in your warehouse?

Yes! We have equipment storage in our secure, climate-controlled warehouse! Think of us as your IT Closet. We handle storage, laptop retrievals, setup, and delivery directly to your employees, simplifying your IT logistics. Learn more about our IT Closet service.
